[Spring] 이미지를 바이너리 데이터로 변환해서 저장하기.

이번 포스팅에서는 이미지를 서버에 저장하는데 바이너리 데이터로 바꾸어서 저장해보려고 한다.

 

일반적으로 이러한 방식은 자주 사용하는 방식은 아니다.

 

그 이유는... 매우 길기 때문이다.

 

한번 다음 이미지를 바이너리 데이터로 변환 후 Base64 인코딩을 해보자.

주의할 점은 바이너리 데이터에 @Lob 어노테이션을 붙여야한다는 점이다.

 

그냥 String의 경우 데이터베이스 컬럼 타입이 varchar(255)로 되는데 길이 제한에 걸려 오류가 발생한다.

바로 바이너리 데이터를 주는게 아니라 앞에 "data:image/gif;base64,"를 붙여서 주고 있다.

 

이미지 태그의 src 속성에 바이너리 데이터를 넣고 싶을 때는

위와 같이 앞에 "data:image/gif;base64,"가 붙기 때문이다.

 

타임리프에서 사용하기 쉽게끔 일부러 붙였는데 만약 프론트와 협업을 한다면 바이너리 데이터만 주고 알아서 사용하도록 하는 편이 좋을 것 같다.
